LEO L. "BOB" DICK, 83, of Thatcher, Ariz., formerly of Lima, Ohio, died April 28, 2004, in Thatcher AZ. He was born January 4, 1921, in Lima, Ohio to Harold L. and Alma Voltz Dick, who preceded him in death. Mr. Dick had been an agricultural inspector for the state of Arizona and had worked at Davidson Enamel Co., Lima. He was a member of Garrett Wykoff Lodge 585 Free & Accepted Masons and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275. He was an Army veteran of World War II serving in the 3rd Infantry Division. Survivors include a daughter, Denise "Dee" (Kelly) Lusk of Lima, Ohio; three sons, D. Michael (Anna) Dick of Houston, Texas, Patrick (Julie) Dick of Thatcher, Ariz., and James (Marilyn) Dick of Jamestown, N.D.; a half brother, Harold (Phyllis) Dick of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.; and eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Dick. A VFW Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. July 5 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Chaplain Richard Coon will officiate.
