Leona "Lee" T. Fee

Leona “Lee” T. Fee, 92, passed away at 8:30 p.m. on August 18, 2021, at Springview Manor Nursing Home in Lima.

Leona was born on September 2, 1928, in Kalida, Ohio, to the late Oliver and Clara {Knueven} Honigfort.  On April 28, 1956 she married Harold Fee who preceded her in death on February 9, 2018.

Leona was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and she enjoyed doing puzzles and reading. She was the matriarch of the family and was always there to offer advice and guidance. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Fee of Louisville, KY; sons: Jeff (Leanne) Fee of Elida, Gary (Tamara) Fee of Montevallo, AL and David Fee of Lima; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Alma Schimmoeller; and sister-in-law, Clara Honigfort.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Connie Fee; brother, Ralph Honigfort; and brother-in-law, Tom Schimmoeller.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24,  2021 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, with a rosary following at 7 p.m.   The funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at St. Rose Catholic Church.  Father Kent Kaufman will officiate.  Burial will be at Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church.
