Lester R. Ingmire ,
80, died at 6:02 AM on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.

Lester R. Ingmire was born on, August 18, 1932 in Urbana, Ohio to the late Clarence Ingmire and Orpha (Lee) Ingmire.

Lester married Pauline M. Lawson on August 17, 1951. She preceded him in death on July 27, 2002. He retired from the Nickel Plate Railroad after 40 years as a conductor. He was a member of the Lima Lodge 205, F&AM; Eagles Aerie #370; and Moose Lodge #52.

He is survived by: a fiancée, Sylvia Stewart of Lima, OH; two sons, Steven Robert Ingmire, of Lima, OH, and Brian Scott Ingmire, of Lima, OH; a sister, Virginia Fox of Wyoming, MI.

He was preceded in death by: a daughter - Kathryn E. Custer; his in-laws - Kermit & Velma Lawson

The family will receive friends from Friday, August 2, 2013 form 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Masonic Service conducted by the Lima Lodge #205 at 8:00 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Pastor James Couser officiating.

Interment will be in St. Matthews Cemetery, Cridersville, Ohio.
