LILLIAN M. BOHNLEIN, 86, formerly of Lima, died at 4:22 a.m. August 12, 2006, at Wapak Manor Nursing Home, Wapakoneta, Ohio. She was born October 5, 1919, in Delphos, Oho to Joseph and Laura Gable Baumgarte, who preceded her in death. On May 30, 1942, in Delphos, Ohio she married Louis Bohnlein, who died March 8, 1958. Mrs. Bohnlein was a former member of the Altar Rosary Society at St. Gerard Roman Catholic Church and Legion of Mary. She was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370 Auxiliary in Lima. She had been a clerk at Haag Drug Store and worked at Monsanto Co. Survivors include two sons, James (Carolyn) Bohnlein of Columbus, Ohio and Gary (Theresa "Teri") Bohnlein of Forest Park; a daughter, Carolyn (Dave) Campbell of Wapakoneta, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Barbara (Ernie) Steinke of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Angela Robine of Cincinnati, Ohio, Michael Bohnlein of Columbus, Ohio, Beth (Brian) Tittl of Toledo, Ohio, Emily (Mike) Jacobs of South Haven, Michigan, Christopher Bohnlein of Forest Park; and David (Shannon) Campbell of Indianapolis, Indiana; a sister, Thelma Bendele of Ottoville, Ohio; four great-grandchildren; and two step grandchildren, Brad (Colleen) Campbell of Pittsburg and Mark (Traci) Campbell of Bristol, Tennessee She was preceded in death by a brother, Cletus Baumgarte. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gerard Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a wake service will begin at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Lima Central Catholic Scholarship Fund.
