Loella M. Ridgeway 85, died at 5:06 a.m. December 29, 2007, at her residence. She was born October 29, 1922, in Findlay, Ohio to H. Austin and Hulda L. Loveridge De-Haven, who preceded her in death. On August 17, 1941, she married Lowell P. Stewart, who died in 1946. She later married Joseph M. Ridgeway, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Ridgeway retired as owner and operator of Loella?s Beauty Shop, Lima, Ohio, after 46 years. She was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church and a member of Les ?Ames Club. She was a hardworking woman who was deeply devoted to her family. She was much loved by her children and grandchildren. She loved reading, sewing, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and baking for her family and friends. Survivors include a son, Joe E. (Marilyn) Ridgeway, of Baldhead Island, N.Carolina; three daughters, Linda (Jim Nolan) Vogel, of Redwood City, California, Marlene (Dr. Ralph) Romaker, of Lancaster, and Genevieve ?Jenee? (Steven) Lynch, of Lima, Ohio; two brothers, H. Robert DeHaven, of Key West, Florida, and Donald (Eunice) De-Haven, of Bradenton, Florida; seven grandchildren, Brigette Romaker, of Portland, Oregon, Kelly Vogel, of San Francisco, California, Ryan Lynch, of Columbus, Ohio, Jason Vogel, of Alfred, New York, Keith Lynch, of Raleigh, N.Carolina, Joseph (Ann) Romaker, of Worthington, and Katherine Romaker, of Seattle; three great-grandsons, Max, Jack and Henry Romaker; and many nieces and nephews. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Dottie Kaiser will officiate. Burial will be in Dunkirk Cemetery, Dunkirk, Ohio.
