Lois Christman

Lois M. Christman, 77 of Lima, Ohio died on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Decedent?s Residence in Lima, Ohio. Born Wednesday, September 16, 1931 in Wetzel, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late C. C. Hammons and the late Lela J. Swartz Hammons. She was the wife of the late Nicholas L. Christman. She was employed by Home Health Aide. Lois had worked at Borden's Cheese in Van Wert, Ohio. After that she became a Home Health Aide for private care. She had married Nicholas L. Christman on March 6, 1952, he preceded her in death on April 6, 1994. She was a member of the American Legion Post 96, Lima; Moose Lodge 199; and VFW Post 1275. She loved being with family and the grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling camping and spending time on the lake. Surviving are sons, Paul (Vicki) Christman of Lima, OH, Jeffrey (Cristine) Christman of Spencerville, OH and Kenneth (Susan) Christman of Lima, OH; Five grandchildren, Michele ?Missy? (Ryan) Greynolds; Joshua (Angel) Christman; Paul ?PJ? (Jennifer) Christman; Jeremy Christman of Spencerville, Ohio; Matthew Christman of Spencerville, Ohio; Six Great Grandchildren, Courtney Coburn; Treg Coburn; Tanner Christman; Hunter Christman; Aryawanna Christman; Chase Christman; Sister, Linda (Bill) Anderson of Van Wert, Ohio; brother, Neil (Karen) Hammons of Van Wert, OH; sister-in-law, Cloris ?Corky? Hammons; sister-in-law, Anna Hammons; sister-in-law, Thelma Watkins; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Haines; sister-in-law, Martha (Lester) Wilks of California; sister-in-law, Emma Mae (Bob) Guthrie of Virginia; brother-in-law, Harold (Betty) Christman of Ohio, brother-in-law, Gene (Jo) Christman of Virginia.; Several Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by daughter, Pamla "Pammie" Christman, brothers, Charles Hammons and Donny Hammons. A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Pastor Neil Hammons officiating. Interment will be in Kings Cemetery, Middle Point, Ohio, OH. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, July 24, 2009, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
