Lois was born on June 15, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Paul Pargeon and Barbara (Kinstler) Pargeon.

Lois married Thomas Helmig on June 2, 1973. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2016. She had been an employee at the Huntington Bank for 35 plus years. She enjoyed dog sitting and had adopted fur babies.

She is survived by her daughter, Emily Goodwin (Mac McIntyre); two grandchildren, Hannah Goodwin and Sofia Goodwin; six sisters, Paula (Tom) Calderone, Janice (Bill) Fast, Carol (Steve) Calderone, Patty (Rick) Bradley, Marty (Jon) Beckman, Bobbie (John) Cannizzaro and one brother, Jack (Holly) Pargeon; brothers-in-law, Ralph "Bud" (Janet) Helmig, Ed (Joanne) Helmig, and Dick Wetzel; sister-in-law, Carol Helmig; her dear friend, Debbie Grant and family; several nieces & nephews, loving companions, Maggie, Molly and Sammy.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio 45805.

A funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Craig Booher will officiate.
