Lonnie Gallaspie

Lonnie L. Gallaspie,44,died at 1:50 p.m. June 20, 2009, at his residence. He was born October 3, 1964, in Lima, Ohio to Noah and Luella Bowers Gallaspie. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives. On July 27, 1996, he married H. Carol Beery, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Gallaspie was a member of Lima Community Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed automobiles and four-wheelers. Survivors also include a son, Seth A. Gallaspie, of Lima, Ohio; two daughters, Selah R. Gallaspie and Melody S. Gallaspie, both of Lima, Ohio; a brother, Dennis Gallaspie, of Lima, Ohio; and a sister, Charlene (Kevin) Smicklas, of Lima, Ohio. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Jonathan Burkey will officiate. Burial will be in Allentown Cemetery, Allentown. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lima Community Church of the Nazarene, 2495 N. Cole St., Lima, OH 45805.
