Lonny Schlesselman

LONNY JAMES SCHLESSELMAN, 64, died at 11:04 a.m. January 24, 2006, at Lima Memorial Health System. He was born August 23, 1941, in Lima, Ohio to Paul James and Faye Maxine Toland Schlesselman, who preceded him in death. On February 28, 1963, he married Idella Bradford, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Schlesselman was self-employed and had worked at Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton/Clark Equipment, Teledyne Ohio Steele and Duff Trucking. He loved to hunt, fish and play his guitar. Survivors also include three sons, Lonny W. Schlesselman and Mark A. (Christa) Schlesselman, both of Lima, Ohio, and James (Angie) Schlesselman of Cridersville, Ohio; three daughters, Starla S. Schlesselman of Elida, Ohio, Londa (Jeremy) Roberts of Forrest and Patsy J. (Tom Gaugh) Schlesselman of Cincinnati, Ohio; and 12 grandchildren, two step grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Darla L. Wellman; a brother, John C. Schlesselman and a sister, Constance Schlesselman. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Gary Hohman will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
