Louise Dupes

LOUISE ROBERTS DUPES, 75, died at 5:13 p.m. August 11, 2005, at Lima Manor Nursing Home, Lima, Ohio. She was born November 10, 1929, in McCreary County, Kentucky., to Hermon and Dorothy Keith White, who preceded her in death. She married Fred Roberts in 1950. She later married Rodger Dupes, who died December 23, 1998. Mrs. Dupes worked at DWG and Roberts Fruit Market. She was one of the first female car salespersons in the state of Ohio for Laibe Lincoln Mercury. She helped start Family Planning in Allen County through the Allen County Health Department. She worked at the Monsanto Co. and Ford Motor Co. She was a member of the Hix and Chix Square Dance Club. She attended the Church of the Nazarene. She loved traveling and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include five sons, Ronald (Jan) Roberts of Lima, Ohio, Roger (Linette) Roberts of Gomer, Ohio, Randall W. (Karen) Roberts of Lima, Ohio, Regan (Pam) Roberts of Lima, Ohio, and Richard "Rick" (Debra) Roberts of Lima, Ohio; two stepsons, Michael (Mary) Dupes of Lima, Ohio and David Dupes of Lima, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Amy Dupes (Joe) Stevens of Cincinnati, Ohio; three sisters, Charlotte (Green) Cagle of Camden, Tennesse, Geraldine (Donald) Oliphant of Sidney, Ohio, and Esther (Del) Wolf of Shelby, N.Carolina,; a brother, Robert J. (Andrea) White of Fortville, Indiana; 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances White and Dora Staten; and a brother, Charles White. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima. Pastor Twyla Stanifer will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Allen County Council on Aging.
