Louise M. Meringleo Louise M. Meringleo, 88, died at 2:35 p.m. Feb. 6, 2010, at The Ridge at Shawnee. She was born Jan. 1, 1922, in Lima to William and Rose Andosco Page, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 4, 1944, in Ohio, she married Joseph John Meringleo, who survives in Lima. Mrs. Meringleo was a very active life member of St. John Catholic Church, Lima, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was a 1940 graduate of St. John High School, where she had been a volunteer for several years. She worked at Westinghouse Electric during World War II. She loved spending time with her family. Survivors also include two daughters, Marilyn Moore, of Huntsville, and Dee Dee (Ben) Dirksen, of Lima; three grandchildren, David Moore and Jimmy Moore, both of Columbus, and Jessica Dirksen, of Greenville; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Sadie Crish, Lucille Parente and Eileen Butoric; six brothers, Carlo, Benny, William, Joseph, Paul and James Page; and a son-in-law, William Moore. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Catholic Church, Lima. The Rev. Norbert Howe will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will begin at 8 p.m. The family would like to give a special thanks to the care staff at The Ridge at Shawnee for the love and care given to her.
