Louise ?Tommie? Ridgley, 82, died at 6:30 p.m. September 12, 2008, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. She was born January 7, 1926, in Cambridge, Ohio to Dwight and Daisy Wilson Thompson , who preceded her in death. On September 21, 1947, she married Wendell Ridgley, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Ridgley was a homemaker and had worked at Neon Products and for the Lima schools in the Horace Mann library. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She loved to read and was involved with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed lunching with her friends. Survivors also include two daughters, Cheryl McGarvey, of New Albany, and Wendy (Carroll) Morning, of Lima, Ohio; a son, Kerry (Maureen) Ridgley, of Phoenix; eight grandchildren, Heather McGarvey, Susan McGarvey, Kaycee Manley, Brandon Morning, Tevon Morning, Brytton Morning, Carrie Ridgley and Caitlin Hudson; and five great-grandchildren, Kyle McGarvey, Ryan Mc-Garvey, Allison Moffo, Deion Manley and Daesy Hudson. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Daniel McGarvey, and a brother, Robert Thompson. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Mausoleum. The Rev. David Harris will officiate.
