106, passed away at 9:52 AM on Thursday, September 10, 2015, at Heartland of Waterville in Waterville, Ohio.
Lucille was born on Tuesday, June 01, 1909, in Hardin County, Ohio, to Arthur and Mary (Tressel) Greenawalt. She married Chester L. Binkley. He preceded her in death in 1965.
Lucille was a member of Southside Christian Church and its Mary Martha Class; Christian Women's Fellowship. She was employed at Siferd Funeral Home for 25 years as a greeter. She had worked for 50 years at the Allen County Board of Elections.
She is survived by: a son, James (Rachelle) A. Binkley of Maumee; a daughter, Janet (Terry) Stemen of Sneads Ferry, NC; grandchildren, Scott Binkley, Bradley Binkley, David J. Brown, Dale Brown and Dan Brown; step grandchildren, Jeff Stemen and David Stemen; Eighteen great-grandchildren; and Seven, great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by: sister, Bettye Mruczkowski; brothers, Donald, Ray, Gerald and Robert Greenawalt and step grandchild, Robyn McAfee.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at South Side Christian Church in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at South Side Christian Church, Lima, Ohio. Rev. Wanda Werking will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 10:00 A.M.
