88, died at 10:25 PM on Saturday, April 05, 2014, at her residence.
Lucille was born on October 25, 1925, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Amedeo and Rose Pellegrini.
She was a member of St John's Catholic Church; Senior Citizen's; Altar Rosary Society of St. John's; and the AARP. She also volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul's. She had been a bookkeeper for Service America. She was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds.
She is survived by: five nieces, Kimberly (David) Steveley, Kelly (Joseph) Schimmoeller, Karen (John) Brenner, Kristi (Kerry) Mason, and Darla Pierce; four nephews, Kevin (Lisa) Lowe, Dennis (Betty) Pierce, Greg (Cheryl) Pierce, and Tom (Ginny) Pierce; many great nephews & nieces; many great great nieces & nephews; a special life-long friend, Jack Hennessy, and a special friend, Cindy Kelly; two cousins Alice Winter, and John Pellegrini.
She was preceded in death by: two sisters, Jeanne Lowe and Martha Pierce; a great nephew, Brandon Mason.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 11, 2014 at St. John's Catholic Church with Father David M. Ross officiating.
Interment will be in Gethsemani, Lima, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
