Luella Brim

LUELLA MAE BRIM, 72, died at 4:45 a.m. April 9, 2006, at Lima Manor Nursing Home. She was born July 27, 1933, in Lima to David and Mary Kerr Reinhart, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 10, 1955, in Findlay, she married James Brim, who survives in Lima. Mrs. Brim had been a registered nurse at Lima Memorial Hospital and Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton. She taught Sunday school at Lafayette United Methodist Church, Lafayette. She was co-founder of the Crib to College CCL and had been a Girl and Boy Scout leader. She was a 1952 graduate of Lafayette-Jackson High School and a 1955 graduate of the Lima Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She always enjoyed helping others. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading and gardening. Survivors also include four daughters, Mary Lou (Steve) Jones and Kathy Brim, both of Lima, Linda Brim of Arizona and Patty (Tim) Neuenschwander of Findlay; six grandchildren, Eric Jones, Nathan Jones, Justin Jones, Danielle (Paul) Bowman, Corey (Jennifer Roe) Neuenschwander and Lorie (Brent Kiene) Neuenschwander; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David Brim. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Joe Heeter will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
