Lupe Gardner

Lupe Gardner 79, died at 1:30 a.m. March 29, 2010, at Otterbein Care Center, Cridersville, Ohio. She was born March 8, 1931, in West Tampa, Florida, to Eligio and Sarah Franquize Ramirez, who preceded her in death. On November 23, 1948, she married Thomas S. Gardner, who survives. They had been married for 61 years. Mrs. Gardner was a homemaker. She loved drawing, her family and laughing. Survivors also include two daughters, Bonnie (Brian) Pennington, of Lima, Ohio, and Catherine Sue (David) Koepl, of Washington; a son, Thomas W. (Belinda S.) Gardner, of Canal Winchester; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a brother, Eligio Ramirez Jr., of Enon, Ohio. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Armando Ramirez and George Ramirez; and two sisters, Dora Ramirez and Eloina Martinez. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Thomas William Gardner will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor?s choice.
