Lynn Paul Cutlip 71, died at 6:07 a.m. August 5, 2007, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. He was born March 4, 1936, in Tiffin, Ohio to Robert and Evelyn McConnay Cutlip, who preceded him in death. On September 15, 1957, he married Pauline R. DePalma, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Cutlip retired in 1987 as an assembler from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant, after 30 years. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 199, Orioles Nest 173, Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54 and Knights of Columbus Council 2661. He was a graduate of Tiffin High School, attended Heidelberg College and graduated from the Ohio State Beauty Academy, Columbus, Ohio. Survivors also include two sons, Robert (Kelley) Cutlip, of Dayton, Ohio, and Paul (fianc?e Amanda Machado) Cutlip, of Lima, Ohio; a granddaughter, Alexix Cutlip, of Lima, Ohio; and a half sister, Sherry Higgins, of New Mexico. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Charles Catholic Church. The Rev. Stephen Blum will officiate. Interment of the cremains will be at a later date in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will be held at 8 p.m., and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
