Lynn Luke

LYNN R. LUKE, 56, died at 7:40 a.m. April 6, 2006, at Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine. He was born Oct. 19, 1949, in Lima to Richard and Doris Brogen Luke, who preceded him in death. On June 8, 1974, he married Jill A. Bowers, who survives in Cridersville. Mr. Luke had worked at Honda for 12 years and for Meadow Gold Dairy for 18 years. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Lima. He was an avid Elvis fan. He loved fishing, playing cards and listening to country music. Survivors also include a son, Cory W. (Karyn) Luke of New Albany; a daughter, Jamie L. Luke of Cridersville; a granddaughter, Katharine E. Luke; a brother, Michael Luke; two sisters, Judy Luke and Kay Luke; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Linda Luke. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Luke. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Catholic Church, Lima. The Rev. David Ritchie will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 616 S.
