95, died at 7:45 PM on Sunday, May 11, 2014, at her residence in Lima, Ohio.
Annetta was born on April 23, 1919, in Cairo, Ohio, to the late Hiram Eli King and Maggie O. (Hole) King. On Saturday, November 29, 1941, in Anna, Ohio, she married John Edgar Morris Sr. He preceded her in death on March 18, 1992.
She was a member of Lima Baptist Temple, where she was involved with its Widows group and funeral dinner ministry. She enjoyed needlework, cooking and baking. She loved doing jigsaw puzzles and was an avid reader.
She is survived by: a son, John E. Morris, Jr., of Lima, OH; three daughters, Jane (Dean) Clevenger, of Massillon, Ruth Fletcher, of Lima, OH, and Diane Black (Jim) Barker, of Lima, OH; eight grandchildren, Greg Clevenger, of Massillon, OH, Jamie (Charlene) Clevenger, of Bristol, CT, Michele (Chris) Watkins, of Lima, OH, Melissa Moore, of Lima, OH, Trevor (Susan Dolata) Morris, of Milwaukee, WI, Shelley (Justin) Kerns, of Lima, OH, Trenton Morris, of Lima, OH, Seth Black, of Elida, OH; a step granddaughter, Kym (Justin) Smith, of Hazel Green, AL; Eight great grandchildren, Three step great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by: son-in-law, Scott Black; a brother John (Marie) King; a brother Hiram (Doris) King, Jr.; a brother, Loree "Bud" (Rosie) King; a brother, Thomas King; a sister Rosalda (Stanley) Miller; a sister, Lucille (Richard) Bok; and a sister, Sylvella (Marvin) Hager.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday May 15, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Rev. Gary Hohman will officiate.
Interment will be in Pike Run Cemetery, Gomer, Ohio.
