82, died at 4:40 AM on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima, Ohio.
Lyn was born on February 23, 1934, in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late Robert H. Sullivan and Edna (Stanium) Sullivan.
Lyn and Robert Schomer met during their service in the Navy as medical corpsman and married on September 4, 1954, he survives in Lima. They had 62 wonderful years together. She had worked for many years in the medical field in the Lima area. She was a member of the American Legion Post 96 and VFW Post 8445.
She is survived by: her children, Marianne (Bob) Betts, Kathleen Schomer, Bob (Lee) Schomer, Debra Schomer, John (Liz) Schomer, and Julianne Schomer: eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and sister Marianne Luther.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Jean Schomer and a grandson, Christopher Betts, and brother Bob Sullivan.
Private family services will be held.
