Margaret R. ?Margene? Dardio 74, died at 6:45 a.m. June 17, 2009, at her residence. She was born June 12, 1935, in Ottoville, Ohio to Leo A. and Regina Gergen Hoehn, who preceded her in death. On May 25, 1957, she married Richard Dardio, who survives in Elida, Ohio. Mrs. Dardio had been a sales representative for American Merchandise for more than 20 years. She had also been a receptionist for Rider Adjusting Co. and Bedar Cabinetry. Mrs. Dardio was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, golfing, bowling, and was an avid Bengals and Reds fan. She loved her family and enjoyed being around people. She loved her guardian and buddy, her dog Molly. Survivors also include two sons, Mark Dardio, of Elida, Ohio, and Brett (Leanne) Dardio, of Lima, Ohio; a daughter, Lisa (Roger) Briem, of Lima, Ohio; four brothers, Norbert Hoehn, Jerome Hoehn, Hubert ?Butch? Hoehn, and Kenneth Hoehn; a sister, Marianne Hoehn; and six grandchildren, Brittany Klingler, Travis Klingler, Alex Dardio, Brandon Dardio, Cole Dardio and Lauren Dardio. She was preceded in the death by a brother, Laverne ?Bud? Hoehn, and two sisters, Ruth Prangle and Dolores ?Dolly? Ibbitson. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Joey Poulani will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima.
