Margaret Sevitz

Margaret Marie Sevitz Lee, 93, died at 10:25 a.m. November 4, 2010, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. She was born September 1, 1917, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to Harry W. and Stella R. Smith Leatherman, who preceded her in death. On September 3. 1937, she married Harry C. Sevitz, who died July 22, 1953. On November 3, 1979, she married Carl G. Lee, who died May 21, 1995. Mrs. Lee was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church since September 25, 1955. She was a member of Chapter 16 Order of Eastern Star since 1984. She had worked in the Elida school cafeteria for 11 years, at Neon Products for five years and retired from St. Rita?s Medical Center after five years. Survivors include a son, Tom L. (Sue) Sevitz, of Dublin, Ohio; four daughters, Dee K. (Roger) Bowers, of Elida, Ohio, and Pam S. (Denny) Bauman, Sharon R. (Tim) Burgess and Sue D. (Ron) Weaver, all of Lima, Ohio; a stepdaughter-in-law, Carol Lee, of Lima, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Darla (Grant) Hiner, Cheryl (Jeff) Grayson, Randy Bowers, Troy Bowers, Doug Bowers, Nathan (Anna) Bauman, Andy (Marci) Bauman, Brent (Kathlene) Burgess, Marlo (Matt) Duffy and Carly Neil; and six step grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Gene Sevitz; a stepson, Robert ?Bob? Lee; a stepdaughter, Dorothy A. (William R.) Hilty; a brother, George Leatherman; and a grandson, Byron Burgess. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Ruth Solo will officiate. Burial will be in Harrod Cemetery, Harrod. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 105 E.
