Margary Charlene "Char” Felkey

84, died at 5:36 PM on Monday, December 17, 2018, at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Char was born on November 28, 1934, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late Clarence and Frances E. (Blank) McClain. On Friday, January 16, 1953, she married Joel G. Felkey who preceded her in death on April 23, 2009.

She was homemaker, who loved her children and grandchildren. She was a sports fan, enjoyed music and playing euchre.

She was survived by three daughters, Jill (William) Lee, of Greenfield, OH, Kim (Stan) Sciranka, of Elida, OH, and Jodi Felkey, of Ft. Wayne, IN, a son, Scott (C.J. Loney) Felkey, of Waterford, MI; four grandchildren, Brandon (Julie) Lee, Alisha Lee, Sarah (Brian) Siebeneck, and Marissa (Scott) Baber; eight great grandchildren, Isaac, Addalyn, Owen, Blake, Bryce, Ezra, Aiden, Ellie; a brother, Mick McClain, of North Canton, OH, and a brother-in-law Gary (Carol) Felkey, of Lima, OH.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jared McClain Sciranka, a brother, Phillip McClain, and two sisters, June Burnside, and Mim Wauben.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH.  Pastor Greg Rice will officiate.

Interment will be in Pike Run Cemetery, Gomer, Ohio.
