Marge Ann Westfall-Briggs,
80, of Lima, Ohio, died on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at 6:25 A.M. at Lost Creek Care Center in Lima, Ohio.
Born Tuesday, February 10, 1932, in Findlay, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Albert Watson and the late Eunice (Hickle) Watson.
Marge had been a Girl Scout leader and a member of Civil Defense. She had also sold real estate for the Sorenson Realty. She had been an insurance agent for The American General Ins. Co. She had worked at The Family Resource Center, where she was activity director for the kids. She had been owner, operator of her own business the County Ruffles and Crafts. She was currently a member of the Starlight Club of which she had served as past president for nine years. She was a Notary Public and tax preparer for 30 plus years at her Main St. residence. Marge was a member of the Rousculp Church of Christ and loved attending services and Sunday school.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing bingo, playing cards, and POGO. Marge touched the lives of many, many people and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are: two daughters, Kathy (David) Green of Lima, OH; Rebecca (James) Hastin of Klamath Falls, OR; five grandchildren, David Jr. (Mindy) Green, Brian (Jessi) Green, Tawnya (Shawn) Satterfield, Sarah Jones, and Nathan (Kara) Foley; Seventeen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; a brother, Raymond (Barb) Watson of VanLue, OH; a sister, Betty (Ray) Hartzell of Findlay, OH; also many nieces and nephews and many special friends.
She was predeceased by a brother, Clifford Watson; and two sisters, Carol Sue Watson and Maxine Leatherman.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at, Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Friday June 29, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Rader officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
