Margie Reiff

MARGIE REIFF, 79, died at 12:50 a.m. March 7, 2006, at Lima Manor Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 12, 1926, in Lima to Jess and Cuma Scholfield Romey, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 12, 1944, she married Marshall L. Reiff, who died April 21, 2005. Mrs. Reiff worked at Clemens Bakery & Catering and at Rink's. She was a member of South Side Christian Church. She loved music, flowers and especially spending time with her children, grandchildren and loved ones. Survivors include two sons, Mike (Dorothy) Reiff of Springfield, Mo., and Terry (Kathie) Reiff of Rockford; a daughter, Judy Cheney of Lima; a sister-in-law, Sylvia Reiff of Lima; eight grandchildren, Melissa (Josh) Gandy, Christopher (Mary) Reiff, Shawn (Angie) Cheney, Charisse (Eric) Bench, Heather (Ray) Triplett, Brandon Cheney, Casey Reiff and Megan Reiff; and five great-grandchildren, Devan Reiff, Michael Reiff, Madison Bench, Gracie Gandy and Baustin Cheney. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Romey; a sister, Shirley McGinnis; and a brother-in-law, Don Reiff. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Douglas E. Adams and Wanda Werking will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
