Maria Chirino-Cordero

Maria Chirino-Cordero, 57, passed away at 11:35 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at her home with her loving family by her side.

Maria was born on July 5, 1963, in Pine River, Cuba, to the late Lucia Cordero.  Maria was a homemaker who loved to sing, dance, cook, and play cards.

She is survived by her children: Yudenia Perez of Cincinnati, Juan M. (Katrina) Perez of Leipsic, Sarain Torrez, and Lasaro R. (Elizabeth) Torrez; grandchildren: Solar Power Allah, Positive Energy Allah, Infinite Light Allah, Siona Torrez, Santino Torrez, Aziah Torrez, Dacian Torrez, Brittany Perez, Yazmine Perez, Juan M. Perez Jr., Jazelle Perez, Joel Perez, Lucia Madlock, Amos Johnson, Zion Johnson, Biggles and Baby Newborn; great-grandchild Sa’riyah Garth; thirteen siblings in Cuba; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Delphine Cordero.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.   The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m.  Pastor Jeff will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
