82, died at 4:44 PM on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at St. Rita's Inpatient Hospice Unit in Lima Ohio.
Maria was born on August 25, 1934, in Ponce, Puerto, Rico, to the late Pedro Juan Villamil and Providencia (Colon) Villamil. On December 21, 1962, she married Raul Rosado.
Maria got a Bachelor's degree from The Catholic University in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She taught first grade for many years. She was a devoted wife and a great mother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren which all knew her as "Beba". Beba loved sewing and collecting angels.
She is survived by her husband, Raul Rosado, of Lima, four sons, Rick (Kelly) Rosado, of Lima, OH, Raul Jr. (Shannon) Rosado, of Edgewood, KY, Rafael (Darlene) Rosado, of Worthington, OH, and Kelvin Villamil (Jean) of Stow , OH; eleven grandchildren, Matthew Rosado, Michael Rosado, Mia Rosado, Max Rosado, Rachel Rosado, Riley Rosado, Ricky Rosado, Amelia Rosado, Avery Rosado, Kyle Villamil and Kelsea Villamil; two sisters, Petra Maldonado, and Sonia (Fernardo) Ortiz.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Antonio Villamil, Erasmo Villamil, Mariano Villamil and two sisters, Lidia Vera and Maria Luisa Suarez.
There will be no visitation.
A private graveside service will be conducted at Ward Cemetery in Lima on Tuesday, July 11, 2017.
Rev. Bryan Bucher will officiate.
