81, died at 4:15 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2014, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Marian was born on January 03, 1933, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late George R. Harris and Lucy Jewel (Smith) Harris. On April 14, 1953, she married Marcus Cope, he survives in Lima.
Marian was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lima Baptist Temple. She had a passion for fashion "Fashionista".
She is survived by: two daughters, Susan Cope, of Lima and Kim (David) Klingler, of Wapakoneta, OH; two sons, Gary (Debbie) Cope, of Toledo, OH, and Lance Cope, of Lima, OH; six grandchildren, Steve, Matthew, Priscilla, Zach, Austin, Jenessa; several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: a son, Scott Cope; a grandchild Clint Cope; and a brother, Willis Harris.
A private family service will be at a later date, with Pastor Gary Bragg officiating.
Interment will be in St. Matthews Cemetery, Cridersville, Ohio.
