Marilyn J. Adams Marilyn J. Adams, 70, died at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 29, 2007, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born Dec. 14, 1936, in Lima to Francis Wilcox and Virginia Alspaugh Anders, who preceded her in death. Her stepmother, Juanita Wilcox, survives in Lima. On Nov. 17, 1975, she married James E. Adams, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Adams had been a clerical worker at Quinns Painting Contractor. She was a 1954 graduate of Lima Central High School. She loved her family, her kitty and watching birds. She respected nature. She enjoyed watching football and doing crafts. Survivors also include a daughter, Susan (Eddy) Nicholson, of Everett, Wash.; three stepdaughters, Barbara (Ron) Doty, of Columbus Grove, Mary Kay Adams, of Bakersfield, Calif., and Connie Adams, of Tucson, Ariz.; a stepson, James E. (Vi) Adams II, of Bakersfield, Calif.; two grandchildren, Heather White and Curtis Nicholson; a great-grandchild, Isaiah Nicholson; and a cousin, Helen Fouriner, of Lima. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Wilcox; and her stepfather, Charles Anders. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Wanda Werking will officiate.
