MARILYN A. GELO, 58, died at 8 p.m. March 18, 2007, at her residence. She was born July 15, 1948, in Lima, Ohio to James H. and Jane Frances O'Boyle Gelo. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Lima, Ohio. Miss Gelo had worked at Linde Gas LLC, and its predecessors, for more than 30 years. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. She loved her nieces and nephews and her dog Austie. She loved to travel and play bingo. Survivors also include two sisters, Barb (John D.) Finn, of Lima, Ohio, and Judy (Gary) Loudenback, of Anderson, Indiana; two brothers, James (Bonnie) Gelo, of Elida, Ohio, and Edward J. Gelo, of Montezuma, Ohio; 15 nieces and nephews, Erin (Rob) Merry, Brian (Alicia) Finn, Patrick Finn, David (Maureen) Gelo, Megan (Rob) Green, Joshua Gelo, Tonya Gelo, Christopher Loudenback, Andy Loudenback, Jennifer Loudenback, Brian (Beth Ann) Reeder, Rebecca (Steve) Shellabarger, Andrea Reeder and Amy (Doug) Hilty; 10 great-nieces and -nephews, McKenzie, Alex, Lauren, Ian, Kyleigh, Olivia, Austin, A.J., Brittany and Christy; and two aunts, Louise Nolte and Janet Althoff, both of Lima. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Anthony M. Gelo. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rose Catholic Church. The Rev. William J. Rose will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.
