Marilyn "Jeanie" Harter

Marilyn Jean Harter, 80 of Lima, Ohio died on Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima, Ohio.
Born Sunday, October 26, 1930 in Ridgeway, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Marshall Hogue and the late Jennie Durkin Hogue. She was the wife of the late Donald Harter.
Mrs. Harter passed away after over a decade long battle with Alzheimers. She graduated from Ridgeway High School, Ridgeway, Ohio, on May 16, 1948. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio, and was a Perpetual member of the League of St. Jude and Our Lady of the Snows. She loved spending time with her children, grandkids, and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are son, Brad [Debra] Harter of Lima, OH, daughter, Suzie Schirmer of Lima, OH., Five Grandchildren, Steve Roznowski, Jennie & Matt Schimpf, Stacey & Jason Bice, Brett Harter, and Jessica Harter, Two great grandchildren, Gavin Schimpf, and Jaide Schimpf
She was predeceased by sister, Dorothy Eichacker, and a son-in-law, Joe Schirmer.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday at Mass at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with the Father Joseph Sekere officiating. Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, OH. Memorial contributions may be sent to Alzheimers Association-West Central Ohio, 892 S. Cable Road, Lima, OH 45805.
