Marilyn Joan Selover

Marilyn Selover, 89, went to meet her Lord at 3:28 a.m. on November 22, 2021, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Marilyn was born on November 12, 1932, in Lima, Ohio, to Russell and Margaret (McComb) Myers. She married Robert A. Selover, who preceded her in death on March 19, 1992.

Marilyn was a member of South Side Christian Church and its Women’s Fellowship. Marilyn loved doing crafts and belonged to several card clubs.

She is survived by her children, Pam Cira, Brad (Kim) Selover, and Beth (Terry) Lohr; seven grandchildren, Blake Selover, Troy (Heather) Selover, Michael (Liz) Sarno, Jason (Katie) Sarno, Amy (Joel) Jackson, Amber (Mark) Junkins, Adam Cira; two step-grandchildren, Sierra (Steffen) Shannon, and Caleb (Summer) Lohr; 12 great-grandchildren and sisters, Kay (Gary) Bedink and Judy (Charlie) Radebaugh.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson Ryan Cira.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.  A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m.  on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Rev. Todd Cosart and Rev. Wanda Werking will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Side Christian Church.
