Marilyn D. Stelzer

Marilyn D. Stelzer, age 91, passed away at 1:50 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

Marilyn was born on December 15, 1928, in Findlay, Ohio to the late Robert and Louise (Stauffer) Miller.  On September 11, 1948, she married Paul Stelzer, who preceded her in death on March 5, 2012 after 63 years of marriage.

Marilyn had worked as a sales clerk at Mack Camera Store for 42 years before retiring.  She enjoyed sewing, doing crafts, bingo, and crossword puzzles.  She also made sure to play her scratch off lottery tickets every Sunday.  Marilyn loved traveling with her husband and saw most of the 50 states.

She is survived by her son Jeff (Janya) Stelzer; step-grandchildren: William (Brittany) Jackson and Devin Jackson; step-great-grandchildren: Taylor Jackson and Weston Jackson; and brother Robert (Brenda) Miller.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister Justine McGown.

As per her wishes, there will be no public visitation or service.
