Marilyn Weber-Miller , 86, passed away on April 22, 2022, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center.
Marilyn was born on January 30, 1936 in Wapakoneta, Ohio to the late Vernon and Myrtle {Cavinder} Weber. On April 10, 1999, she married Virgil Miller who survives her in Lima.
Marilyn retired from Edward Jones as an administrative assistant. She worked at the Soup Kitchen and helped patients at the Dialysis Unit play BINGO. Marilyn was very involved in her church; Crossroads Church of God. She was an exceptional painter and loved gardening and going on long country drives. She had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was always involved in whatever they were doing. She enjoyed a nice quiet conversation and of course frequenting all the ice cream shops.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Dodi (Bryan) West and Sue (Norm) Poeppelman, sons: Dave (Dale) Elshoff and Tom (Janetta) Richardson, step-daughters: Kelly (Glenn) Layman, Kimberly (Todd) Wheeler, Keri (Bryan) Evans, Kathleen (Eric Patton) Miller, and Kaye (Kevin) Litsey, 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and brother-in-law: Jerry Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Reba Newland, brothers: Kenneth Weber and Gene Weber, and great-grandson: Alexander West.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 1-4 p.m. at Crossroads Church of God, where a funeral will follow at 4 p.m.
