Marion Reese

MARION EVERETT REESE, 95, died at 6:48 p.m. September 17, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born September 18, 1910, in Putnam County, Ohio to Richard and Jennie Morgan Reese, who preceded him in death. He married Ruth Miller, who died January 15, 1986. Mr. Reese had worked as a machinist at the Lima Tank Depot and as a crank grinder at Steele's Automotive. He had been a member of the Welsh Society of Northwest Ohio. He was an avid reader and an antique car enthusiast. Survivors include a son, Charles Alan Reese of Lima, Ohio; and four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by six siblings, Martha Rheaume, Gladys Stayden, Bessie Goedde, Walter Reese and Harold Reese, and Nettie Henderson. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Burial will be in Harmon Cemetery, Gilboa, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
