Marjorie Barnum

Marjorie Corinne Barnum, 99 of Lima, Ohio died on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at her residence.

Born Thursday, February 22, 1912 in Allen Co., Ohio, she was the daughter of Harry Tabler and Bertha Smith Tabler they are both deceased. She married Kenneth R. Barnum on October 22, 1933 and he died December 11, 1971.

Mrs Barnum was a graduate of Lima Central High School, Lima, Ohio. She was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church, Lima,and its Adah Circle and was currently a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Lima. She loved doing crossword puzzles, bowling and golfing in her former years. She also enjoyed playing Scrabble, Yahtzee and was a beautiful organ player. She had previously worked at Kresge's Dept. Store.

Surviving are daughters, Kay (Frank) Prinzi of Lima,, Marcia Perkins of Spencerville, and Carolyn (Robert "Bob") Koch of Gahanna, ; Eleven Grandchildren: Debra (Tim) Bailey of Ottawa, Mark (Cheyl) Prinzi of Lima, Scott (Caroline) Pinzi of Lima, Bryan Prinzi of New Port Richey, FL., Bruce (Teresa) Perkins of Spencerville, Brenda Perkins of Van Wert, Doug (Lisa) Perkins of Lima, Candy (Cope) Mills of Jacksonville, NC, Dawn (Dan) Grieves of Pickerington, Jeff (Kim) Koch of Gahanna, Bob (Wendy) Koch of Westervlle. Twenty-eight Great Grandchildren, Twenty-eight Great-Great Granchildren, and Two Great-Great-Great Grandchildren.She was predeceased by brother, Robert Glen Tabler. Infant sister Marceil Tabler, Son-in-law, Carrol Perkins and Grandaughter Nikki Koch Tackett.

A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Rev. Phyllis Fetzer officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 5, 2011, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, , , . Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Rita's Hospice.
