`Marjorie Mae Pace, 81 of Lima, Ohio died on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at 7:35 P.M. at Lost Creek Care Center in Lima.

She was born Friday, January 24, 1930 in Lima, to, Richard and Norma Mae (Counts) John they preceded her death She married Joseph Wallace Pace May 9, 1960 he died August 31, 1982.

Mrs. Pace had been a Tupperware dealer for 18 years and sang with Sweet Adelines for many years. She wrote thousands of verses and had published a Christian book of poems. She was a member of Conerstone Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing and quoting poetry to all and especially the staff and residents of Lost Creek on a regular basis. She will be forever loved and will be sadly missed by her surviving children. She was previously married to Ralph Bowersock who preceded her in death July 20, 1976 and later married Joseph Wallace Pace.

Surviving are son, Joseph (Juliana) Pace of Palmatto, FL, daughters, Dorothy (Larry) Martin of Lima, Cheryl (Danny) Swan of Columbia, SC, Arlene (Rob) Mauck of Lima, and Mary (Terry) DeLong of Nashville, TN, Nine grandchildren , three step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren. sister Helen (Junior) Gross and sister-in-law Suzanne John

She was preceded in death by brother, Gene John, sisters, Juanita Lange and Dottie Farsht. and two grandchildren

A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Pastor Frank Hartman officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima, OH.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 26, 2011, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, , , .
