Marjorie Rose Saunders

Marjorie Rose Saunders, 83, died at 9:46 AM on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at her residence in Lima, Ohio.

Marjorie was born on June 2, 1931, in Cairo, Ohio, to the late Gregory and Naomi (Waltz) Jennings. On August 02, 1950, she married Vernon Saunders.

She loved spending time with her beloved family, enjoyed reading, flowers and had a special affection for hummingbirds.

She is survived by her husband Vernon Saunders, Lima, Ohio; daughters, Cheryl Theis, Elida, Ohio and Debra Saunders (John Neugebauer), Dublin, Ohio; sons, Lynn (Linda) Saunders, Elida, Ohio and Gregory Saunders, Piqua, Ohio; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Charles Jennings, Harold Jennings, daughter-in-law Kathryn Saunders and son-in-law Vernon Theis.


Friends may call from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday September 2nd and one hour prior to services on Wednesday September 3rd at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, September 3rd at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio with Rev. Dick Potter officiating. Interment will be following the services at Fairmount Cemetery in Uniopolis, Ohio.
