Martha Hawk

MARTHA E. "MARTY" HAWK, 96, died at 10 p.m. May 31, 2007, at Lima Manor Nursing Home. She was born March 27, 1911, in Sidney, Ohio to Norton and Norma Able Potts, who preceded her in death. Her longtime companion, Donald William Hohl, survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Hawk was a homemaker and had worked at National Carbon, Fremont, Ohio. She loved to play bingo. She had also lived in Sidney and Fremont. Survivors also include a stepson-in-law, Bud Burkett, of Fremont, Ohio; a nephew in Sidney, Ohio and a niece in Virginia. She was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Kent Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
