Martha Mitchell

MARTHA "MARTY" MITCHELL died at 9:25 p.m. February 27, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania to William Watson and Martha Scott Young Morton, who preceded her in death. On July 19, 1952, she married James T. Mitchell, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of Market Street Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed charcoal drawing, painting, crafts and classical music. Survivors also include a daughter, Mary Mitchell of Monmouth Junction, N.Jersey She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jim Morton, Bill Morton and Clark Morton. Services will begin at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Market Street Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Robert Bohnsack will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
