Martha Belle Sullivan,
95 of Lima, Ohio died on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima, Ohio.
Born Saturday, November 20, 1915 in Lafayette, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Walter O. Hawk and the late Mabel (Yoakam) Hawk. She was the wife of Regis P. Sullivan.
Martha married Regis P. Sullivan on October 5, 1938, in Lafayette, Ohio. He survives in Lima. She was a 1934 graduate of Lafayette-Jackson High School and a graduate of Frederic Beauty Academy as a certified Cosmetologist in 1937. She was a member of O.E.S. Trinity Chapter and former member of Grace United Methodist Church and currently a member at Trinity United Methodist Church. She was a member of the PhiBeta Psi Sorority and the Kiwaniannes. She loved to play golf and was an avid fisherwoman. She cherished the time spent with her family.
Surviving are sons, Regis (Penny) Sullivan, Jr. of Lynchburg, VA, Craig (Debbe) Sullivan of Lima, OH and Denton (Nancy) Sullivan of Lima, OH, Five grandchildren, and Six great grandchildren, a sister, Kathryn Smith.
She was predeceased by brothers, Dwight Hawk, Michael Hawk and Walter Hawk, and a sister, Elizabeth Dowell.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Rev David Harris officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, July 8, 2011, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, and Saturday July 9, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
