Marty R. Binion

Marty R. Binion, 62, passed away at 9:04 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s in Lima.

Marty was born on August 26, 1959 in Portsmouth, OH, to the late Ray and Jessie L. (Pullman) Binion.  On March 3, 1995 he married Andra (Udris) Binion, who survives in Lima.

Marty had previously worked at Allen Correctional Facility, Tom Ahl Dealership, Lima Harley Davidson, and was currently working at the Lima Rescue Mission.  He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepard in Columbus Grove and The Christian Motorcyclists Association.  He was also a HOG member and member of N.R.A.   Marty enjoyed motorcycling and spending time with his grandchildren.  He was an ordained minister who enjoyed spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Cara Campbell of Lima; three grandchildren: Ava, Bay, and Mateo; brother, Rick (Kitty) Binion; aunt, O’Reta Panzone; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by many uncles and aunts.

The family will receive friends from 1 – 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Monday.  The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the funeral home.  Rev. Keith Wilson will officiate.  The family ask that friends dress casual.
