97, died at 9:53 AM on Monday, July 22, 2013, at Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Mary was born on Thursday, July 29, 1915, in Spencerville, Ohio, to James Albert Miller and Martha Mary [Theising] Miller.
Mary married Cloyd A. Baber on August 7, 1943 in Tyler, TX where Cloyd was stationed with the US Army. He preceded her in death on December 24, 1994.
She retired from Gregg's Department Store after 40 years as a sales lady in the Jewelry Department. She was a member of Eastern Star-Trinity Chapter 16, VFW Post 1275 Auxiliary, Eagles Auxiliary and both Euchre clubs; and a long time member of the Tamarac Golf Club, Ladies Golf Association, and Tuesday night Ladies Golf League and Wednesday AM Couples League.
She is survived by: two nephews, Mickey (Emily) Miller of Lima, OH and Michael & (Judy) Miller of Tucson, AZ; two nieces Radonna Mulholland and Kathleen "Kathy" (Tom) Byrne of Lima, Ohio; several great nieces and great nephews and many long time friends and wonderful neighbors.
She was preceded in death by: six brothers, Orville E. Miller, Arthur E. Miller, Walter L. Miller, Robert C. Miller, Melvin A. Miller and Everett I. Miller and a sister, Eva M. Howdeshelt.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. An Eastern Star Service will be held at 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 26, 2013 Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Pastor Mark Chambers will officiate.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Chapter 16, Eastern Stars.
