Mary V. Bohn,

83, passed away at 4:20 AM on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at St. Rita's Medical Center.

Mary was born on Friday, July 28, 1933, in Delphos, to the late Virgil and Mary (Keiffer) Thines. On Saturday, February 14, 1953, in Lima, she married Jackie L. "Jack" Bohn who preceded her in death on October 14, 2012.

Mary was an employee of American Greetings for eight years. She loved to garden and was an avid reader.

She is survived by: daughters, Beverly Allen-Schidecker, Troy, Tamara (Steven) Steed, Lima and Felicia (Steve) Jenkins, Urbana; son, Scott E. Bohn, Columbus; grandchildren, Amanda Allen, Christopher Allen, Michelle (Scott) Mayfield, Jessica (Drew) Wilson , Joseph Radebaugh, Jake Steed, Shawn Jenkins, Brandon Jenkins, Kyle Jenkins and Hilary (Issac) Perry; eleven great grandchildren; sister, Clara Gillispie and brother, Virgil (Georgia) Thines, and her dog, Luc..

She is preceded in death by: son, Jay A. Bohn and grandson, Joshua Allen.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM and from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima.

A funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima. Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima.

Mary's request was that people wear blue jeans to her visitation and funeral.
