Mary Coffey

Mary Ann Coffey, 79, died at 8:30 a.m. June 15, 2008, at her residence. She was born December 31, 1928, in Lima, Ohio to James and Alice Davis Groves, who preceded her in death. On June 29, 1946, she married Glen Coffey, who died April 27, 1984. Mrs. Coffey retired from Ex-Cell-O Corp. after 25 years. Survivors include two sons, David (Laura) Coffey and Jerry (Sharon) Coffey, both of Lima, Ohio; two daughters, Barb (Tom) Oard, of Lima, Ohio, and Carolyn (Richard) Snyder, of Lima, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a sister, Phyllis (Joe) Fedele, of Lima, Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Marion Groves, of Lima, Ohio. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Norbert, William and Richard Groves; and a sister, Gloria Groves. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Arnold Eldridge will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
