MARY MARGARET DUPES, 81, died at 4:13 p.m. March 21, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born July 26, 1923, in Lima to James Bernard and Helen Donahue Walsh, who preceded her in death. In 1945, she married George R. Dupes Sr., who died in 1978. Mrs. Dupes retired from Huntington Bank after 30 years, where she was a member of its retirees club. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church. She was a volunteer for the St. Vincent DePaul Society. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Survivors include three sons, G. Robert (Bobbi) Dupes Jr. of Middleburg, Pa., William C. (Jane) Dupes of Fallbrook, Calif., and Scott R. (Lisa) Dupes of Naples, Fla.; a daughter, Lori (Drew) Kantonon of Lima; five brothers, James (Marilyn) Walsh of North Canton, Mich., William (Nancy) Walsh of Adrian, Mich., Joe (Sue) Walsh of Lima, Dick (Terri) Walsh of Tulsa, Okla., and Dan (Marilyn) Walsh of Lima; two sisters, Jean Young of Lima and Frankie (J.B.) Gass of Nashville, Tenn.; a special sister-in-law, Marilyn Walsh of Lima; nine grandchildren, Melissa, Angela, Hannah, Jonathan, Margaret, Sam, Elli, Lilli Margaret and Crew; and two great-grandchildren, Maxfield and Preston. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Anthony Dupes; a sister, Virginia Martin; and three brothers, Larry, Tom and John Walsh. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Father Dennis Walsh will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.
