Mary Grace Fetter

Mary Grace Fetter age 96, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2018.

She was born on March 9, 1922 to the late Paulo and Gladys Bonito in Lima, OH.

Mary Grace lived a long wonderful life surrounded by love and a large family.

She married Waldo Don Fetter and raised a family in Lima, OH. They lived a long and happy life and were proud parents of 3 wonderful children.

Mary was a hard-working Catholic woman with strong ties to St. Gerard’s Catholic Church. She devoted her weekdays to raising her beautiful family and decades of devotion as an employee of the Excello Corporation. When Mary was not at work or raising her family, she was devoted to her church where she would spend her Saturday’s cleaning pews and enjoying the fellowship of others.

She was a very influential grandmother to 9 grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Many of her grandchildren will remember her as a feisty Italian, with strict rules but with a beautiful heart and would have held the world on her shoulders to protect them.

Mary is survived by her children, Dennis (Vicki) Fetter and George Fetter; sisters, Mildred (George) Haliena, Jane McKinney, Pauline Coats, and Rosalie (Charles) Reichelderfer; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Joseph Bonito; sister, Geraldine Fields; and recently, her daughter Nancy Ann Hobright on November 6, 2017. They have embraced Mary Grace in heaven and have her wrapped in their arms; she is home with her loved ones and she will remember again!

Mary Grace Fetter was a loving sister, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and was proud to be introduced to her great, great grandchildren. She will be truly missed!

A Memorial Mass will be held on 11:00 a.m., November 17, 2018, at St. Gerard Catholic Parish in Lima, OH. Visitation will begin at the church a half hour prior to the service. Entombment of her ashes will be held in Gethsemani Cemetery Mausoleum.
