Mary Margaret Cheney Foley 86, died at 6:55 p.m. April 7, 2009, at Baton Rouge Senior Health Services Community. She was born June 27, 1922, in Allentown to Guy and Laura Miller Cheney, who preceded her in death. On November 2, 1939, she married Jack O. Foley, who survives in Lima, Ohio Mrs. Foley was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and being at home with her family. Survivors include a son, Bob (Karen) Foley, of Lima, Ohio; two daughters, Joyce (Don) Morris, of Lima, Ohio, and Jackie (Ray) Myers, of Kenton, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Lucille Cheney, of Cleveland, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Richard Skelly, Jim (Kim) Skelly, Raymond (Amy) Myers, Adam Myers, Mark (Terrie) Hawkey, Steve (Tammie) Hawkey, Mike (Amy) Hawkey, Amanda (Joel) Mick, and Samantha (Brad) Clum; two step grandchildren, Susan (Bob) Dickrede and Mike (Beth) Morris; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Don Cheney, Gerald Cheney, Lowell Cheney and Robert Cheney; and five sisters, Lenore Hagerman, Velma Contras, Betty Freeman, Dorothy Cheney and Janet Mason. Graveside services will begin at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Allentown Cemetery. Wanda Werking will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital.
