Mary Jean Frazier,
90, passed away at 1:06 PM on Friday, October 9, 2015, at Lima Memorial Health System.
Mary was born on Wednesday, February 4, 1925, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Edward A. and Ona L. (Brentlinger) Rothe. On Saturday, April 08, 1950, in Lima, Ohio, she married John Frazier who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Frazier retired from the Ohio Coverall Service; she also worked for St. Rita's Medical Center in the laundry department. She married John Frazier on April 8, 1950; he preceded her in death on March 26, 2002. She was a member of the LightHouse Baptist Church. She was a member of the American Legion Post 96 Aux. and life time member of the VFW Aux Post 1275. She loved to Crochet, grow flowers and collect dolls.
She is survived by: in-laws, Everett & (Dee) Frazier, Lima; and many nieces and nephews and a sister, Leah (Richard)May Gatchel, Lima.
She loved and was very close with her neighbors, and she truly loved going to the elderly day care where she was able to spend time with her closest friends. At the age of 89 Mary rode a camel. She loved to travel with Everett, Dee and the kids. Something to know about Mary was her clothes, shoes and nail polish always had to match. She loved getting her hair done and talking with the girls at New Creations.
The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Monday, October 12, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 1 P.M. on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Chamberlain Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Re. Chris Page will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
