Mary Louise Meyers-Hefner, 81, died at 12:09 a.m. Feb. 18, 2010 at Baton Rouge Senior Health Services Community, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Dec. 7, 1928, in Lima to John and Sarah Newell Meyers, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Meyers-Hefner loved her family. She enjoyed flower gardening. Survivors include a daughter, Debra A. (Ron) Lhamon, of Lima; three grandsons, Douglas L. Lhamon, Thomas (Lori) Lhamon and Robert (Christina) Lhamon; seven great-grandchildren, Ashley, Alex, Jacob, Cassidi, Cameron, Skyler and Lucas; a great-great-grandchild, Brycinn; a sister, Dorothy Davis; five nephews, Bernard Meyers, Tom Hullinger, Robert Davis, Donald Davis and Kenneth Justice; and three nieces, Janet Buck, Sandra Klingler and Linda Spangler. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Meyers; and three sisters, Evelyn Hawley, Elsie Justice and Ester Hullinger. Services will begin at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Bayliff will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
